Being an essential service, Connecticut Car Service is always committed to providing our clients with a great experience when traveling for business or pleasure. With the ongoing spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the United States, we are dedicated to that great experience now more than ever by adapting our business to provide extra sterilized and clean private transportation to help you get to where you need to go safely and in good health.

We want our clients to rest assured during this trying time knowing we are taking every precaution and preventative measure to reduce risk, so you can continue to travel in a calm and secure environment. We strive to make sure your safety and health come first by providing the highest level of service and care in the transportation business.

Vehicle Sanitation & Cleaning Protocol

Unlike rideshares & taxis our vehicles are company-owned so we can guarantee each one of our vehicles is sterilized between rides.  We use electrostatic sprayers with the Clorox Total 360® Disinfectant Sanitizing Spray to deliver superior coverage in an efficient way. The Clorox® Total 360® Disinfectant Cleaner:

To ensure you remain in good health, we completely disinfect before and after every ride touched surfaces, such as door handles (interior & exterior), seating areas, armrests and seat belts, as well as the less-thought-of areas, such as air vents.

Employee Precautions & Procedures

• All Connecticut Car Service employees and drivers undergo no touch temperature screening at the beginning and ending of each shift.

• Employees will not be permitted to work if they display or might be displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19 as per Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) Guidelines.

• All drivers wear face masks and gloves at all times in the office and in the field.

• Office employees wear masks at all times in the office and follow the social distancing protocol of 6 feet apart from other employees & drivers that are in the office at the same time.

• Drivers are equipped with hand sanitizer, hand wipes & disinfectant spray and sanitize the vehicle before and after each pickup.

It’s important that you always take precautions when traveling and use a comfortable and sanitized vehicle that only private transportation can provide you.

Client Measures

• Do not utilize our service if you are sick or exhibiting symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who has symptoms of COVID-19. If you have been exposed to COVID-19, please follow the CDC Guidelines and self-quarantine for 14 days.

• A face mask is required at all times in the vehicle. Complimentary water & candy will not be provided at this time.

• Please follow the drivers’ instructions regarding social-distancing and other preventive measures while in the vehicle.

• Inform our office immediately if you are tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of riding in one of our vehicles.

By contracting for our services, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to COVID-19 and that such exposure may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to you and others with whom you may come into contact. You understand that exposure to COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself and others, including our employees. To the extent permissible under applicable law, Connecticut Car Service LLC. disclaims any and all liability for any claims, actions, damages, cost or expenses of any kind arising out of or related to COVID-19 including any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Connecticut Car Service and its employees, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after utilizing our services.

Connecticut Car Service has taken preventive health & safety measures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 among our employees & our passengers. However, Connecticut Car Service cannot guarantee that you will not contract COVID-19.  There is high risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a contagious disease that can lead to sickness or death. By reserving a vehicle with Connecticut Car Service, you (passenger) assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and hereby agree as follows: I (passenger) acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and assume the risk that I may be exposed to COVID-19 by using Connecticut Car Service and that such exposure may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability and/or death.  I understand the risk of becoming exposed to COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions or negligence of myself and others including Connecticut Car Service employees.

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the risks and I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge and hold Connecticut Car Service, its employees of and from all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, cost or expenses of any kind related to exposure or infection of COVID-19.  I understand and agree that this release includes claims based on the actions, omissions or negligence of Connecticut Car Service and its employees, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs during or after using our service for your transportation needs.
